Lecture (20 minute talk, 10 minute Q and A)

Cluster or Blast Sessions: 3, 20 minute, high yield, to the point presentations on 3 inter-related topics (fits the attention span of the audience more effectively) instead of an hour long talk on one topic. An example would be 1. Work up for dementia; 2. Treatment options for dementia; 3. Advanced directive points

Procedural Workshop (Lunch & Learn) – 1 hour, 45 minutes. Teach common procedures performed in a family medicine practice. At least 50 percent of course time must be devoted to practicing skills. Past workshop examples: IUD Insertion, Splinting and Casting, Nexplanon Training
